Ingredients

6-7 Potatoes
2 tbsp Milk Powder
1/4 tsp White Pepper
1/4 tsp Allspice
Breadcrumbs
500g Ground Beef
Salt to taste


Steps

  1. Poach the potatoes, mash them along with the powdered milk
  2. Coat the bottom and sides of the baking dish with oil, then spread a thin sheet of breadcrumbs over the oil
  3. In a skillet, cook the ground beef with olive oil
  4. Lay a 1/2 cm thick layer of the mashed potatoes on the bottom of the baking dish, add on top the cooked ground beef and spread evenly
  5. Add a 2nd layer of potatoes on top, spread a thin layer of olive oil on top and sprinkle bread crumbs on top of that
  6. Bake @ 180 C for 30 in, then broil for 5 min
